Deontay Wilder Goes Off On Anthony Joshua During Media Workout
Even with a world heavyweight title defense coming in less than three weeks, Deontay Wilder still has plenty to say about fellow world champion Anthony Joshua.

For months, Wilder had been trying to get Joshua to accept a fight that would be one of the biggest champion vs. champion heavyweight fights in recent memory to no avail. In a recent media workout, Wilder went on a rant calling out Joshua on the unified champion talking about other boxers except for Wilder.
“Anthony Joshua calls everybody's name but my name. Anthony Joshua talking about Dillian Whyte! He talking about Jarrell Miller! He doesn't even mention Deontay Wilder’s name. In fact, he says I’m too easy. He says he’ll ram his jab down my throat! No homo! He says he’ll knock me out with one punch! But they don’t want to sign that contract, but he says he doesn't know anything about me offering a contract," Wilder said.
Joshua is currently busy preparing for his upcoming March 31 fight against Joseph Parker to unify the WBA "super," IBF and WBO heavyweight belts. With Wilder preparing to defend his WBC title against Luis Ortiz on March 3, a fight involving the two winners won't happen until at least the second half of 2018. Such a fight would likely have the WBA, WBC, WBO and IBF titles on the line, meaning the winner will be the first heavyweight in history to hold all four major governing bodies' world heavyweight titles.
