Stacy London will appear in Detroit for FashionSpeak this week

Interested in learning about Detroit’s burgeoning fashion industry and how you can be part of it? FashionSpeak is an annual event hosted by the Detroit Garment Group, a nonprofit that works to create programs that will help make Detroit fertile ground for fashion.
The event will feature a cast of speakers who will share their expertise with attendees, and this year that roster will include What Not to Wear’s Stacy London. The famous fashion stylist and consultant is the event’s keynote speaker and will take the stage last. Other speakers include Anina Net, developer of the 360Fash Tech Kits, and Kevin Krason, Biz Net Digital founder.

Tickets to the event include all workshops plus a continental breakfast and lunch. Doors open at 9 a.m., first speaker at 10 a.m.; 1 Woodward Ave., Detroit; detroitgarmentgroup.org/fashionspeak; Tickets are $49.
