Thunder in the Valley Air Show 2017 “A SUCCESS”

This past weekend Columbus Georgia, in the Ft. Benning area celebrated 20 years of putting on the Thunder in the Valley Air show. After many weather-related disappointments, this show seemed to be quite the success. The show consisted of many big-name local area sponsors that can be found on the event page, here. Military Area Guide contributors, LaShon Smith and Kim Olive were able to catch the last part of the Sunday afternoon show with a grand finale that featured the incredible Jet engine truck Shockwave, racing two military prop planes to the finish line. There looked to be several hundred in attendance. Take a look at this short video review of the Sunday afternoon events.
